Retention language without retention effort is hollow.

Telling someone they’re valued while failing to:
• understand their concerns
• acknowledge prior behavior
• ask how to make things right

…doesn’t feel reassuring.

It feels dismissive.

People don’t stay because they’re told they’re wanted.
They stay because they’re shown they matter.
