Advocacy Doesn’t Guarantee the Ending

This may be the hardest truth.

Advocacy does not guarantee survival. It does not guarantee success. It does not guarantee permanence. It guarantees effort.

There is something sobering about fighting for something knowing the ending may still hurt.

But here’s the deeper lesson: Your job isn’t to control the ending. Your job is to honor the assignment. In SBA lending. In leadership. In relationships.

Sometimes you advocate and still lose. That does not invalidate the advocacy. It validates your character.
